Happy Valentine’s Day! Wedding planning can, at times, take the joy out of wedded bliss, so it is important to remember that what truly matters, over the cake, the flowers, the invites, is the love that you share. And when it comes down to it that is what is important – the two of you becoming one and the vows that you share. Remember – all you need is love.

With Valentine’s Day later this week, I couldn’t help but fall in love with these flowers of sweet and bright pinks, flags of dainty hearts, and pretty sparkly cake decorations.

We usually celebrate with a little gift exchange and a yummy dinner. I am a big fan of V-Day! I enjoy the reminder of celebrating and appreciating those that you love. What are your Valentine’s Day plans?
Oh wedding dress hunters – do I have the salon for you! Last Saturday I was wisked away to a magical salon where client service is king and I was happily greeted with the most stunning dresses, EVER. If you are searching for gorgeously unique dresses, fits you to a tee and makes you feel incredible dresses, dresses that clients are literally flying to this little San Mateo Shop from all over the place to see, then you must visit Nouvelle Vogue. This is how wedding dress shopping should be.
From the moment you walk in, Saida and Chantal make you feel special – as if you are the only gal in the world, and as if they have something beautiful just for you, only you.
I had a fabulous time learning about their dresses, their style, their loves and I adore them both. I may show up every Saturday morn for some fun wedding chit-chat and a tasty espresso.
Please do check them out – dresses start at $3,000 and they have the most amazing and unique collection of dresses.

Happy Dress Hunting!
Happy Wednesday! Wanted to share a little decor secret with you all. I LOVE pillows. Pillows can soften a space, add a pop of much color, or even share a personal detail or two about a couple. The first two photos below are from our past weddings, picking up the hints of white and deep orange in the outdoor cocktail space at Hans Fahden Vineyards. The second is the benches along the reception area at Elliston Vineyards, creates a pop of color and brings in a key detail that was used throughout the wedding, sharing the couple’s love of vintage furniture and keys.

This last photo below, was a find in one of my fav new furniture companies – Ballard Designs. Loving how sweet these pillows could be on a chairs or a bench at the head table – and then fab for re-use back at the couple’s pad!
Happy pillow hunting!
Paper has started to take over some major details in wedding decor. We’ve seen poms that dangle and add pretty pops of color, we’ve seen gorgeous ceremony backdrops of flowing paper strands, and lovely little details such as fun place cards but what if the clothing were all paper?
I know, not necessarily realistic for a bride moving about her wedding day, but I had to share this stunning piece of art. A fun short party dress that makes a statement.

Having a personal love of my label maker, I geeked out a bit when I stumbled across this fantastical site: Labeley! Personalization is a huge part of your wedding, and I love when couples want to give favors that have meaning to them. A lot of my couples over the past few years have done some sort of alcohol as a parting gift, whether it was a sample from their family winery or a split of their fav champers for guests to take home.
This fab little site I found allows you to create the coolest custom labels! Take a peek – so many options!! The site also posts some of the latest and greatest labels, I was loving these three that were recently posted:
Kinda nifty right? Think of all the options!
Ok, have fun labeling!
I hope you all rung in the New Year in style! It’s fun to read about people who do and don’t believe in resolutions and how they handle this new beginning. I tend to love the “fresh start” and feel rejuvenated and excited about all of the potential the new year brings with it. A few days after the new year kicks off, I also celebrate my birthday, so I look at my birthday as part of this new year that will lead to a better me.
I don’t make any hard and fast resolutions, I just dream big. And I love when I get to see my dreams come true. Many of them did in 2011 and I can’t wait to see what 2012 brings. Some are personal, just for me, myself and I, some are shared within my family and some are for all to know.
I do know I will continue to make Trisha Dean Events are very fun and special part of my life. I loved each and every one of my 2011 couples and can’t wait to celebrate with my 2012 ones.
I also have some new ideas up my sleeve and hope to be unveiling them to you shortly. I am so excited about sharing them with you and hope you will continue to be an avid reader and fan. Until then, hold tight and keep dreaming! Love, happiness and health to you and your loved ones as this new year unfolds.
As we head into the Christmas countdown for our little family, we wanted to wish you and yours a very happy holiday season full of merriment and love. And, if we had our way, our halls would be decked with the following amazing seasonal decor…
How crazy cool are the angel wings on the chairs!? Ok, on Dasher and Prancer, and off to celebrate with friends and family. We will be back in the new year with more amazing weddings to share and some exciting news too!

Hi all! Christy here, and I am so excited to share this wedding with you! A classic San Francisco wedding captures my heart every time and this was certainly no exception. Ashley and Marshall recited their vows in the historic Swedenborgian Church and danced the night away at their reception in the pristine Flood Mansion. The day was a dream…from the city-by-the-bay weather, to the timeless pictures at the Mark Hopkins Hotel, the cable car trolley bus, and the balcony of the Flood.
I loved being part of the day, truly. Watching Ashley and Marshall steal kisses, and share sweet smiles during the toasts…I just felt so darn happy for them! It was a wonderful day and I’m proud to share the details now!

Every day I am lucky enough to whiz by this little count down clock that tells me how many days are left until Christmas. And every day my heart does a little skip as it gets closer and I am still not ready! So, as I sit here and surf the net for gifts to buy for friends and family, I thought I would share some of my found loves with you!
I have yet to sucumb to the Ugg Boot, but this one may break me.
Because it is red, and cushy and has a heart on it.
Who doesn’t adore a good patent leather bow on their bag!?
Why yes, there is a hint of a logo T pattern on these babies, T for Trisha of course!
I can think of a million places to wear them, all day and every day.
Lost one of these at a restaurant on date night last month, and miss them so. I think Santa should bring them back to me…
Wireless speakers in pretty colors? Yes please.
French. Lime. Blossom. Enough said.
Good luck out there little elves!
